Goals of the Program in the Faculty of Biology

The aim of the Tutoring and Mentoring Program is to support new students and especially international students in transitioning to Wuerzburg, Germany, and the MSc Program. We created an online support system to accommodate the tight schedule many students may have. This includes resources and information from the Mentoring Program that aid in transitioning and integrating relevant to the first two semesters of your MSc.  Please contact Dr. U. Rapp-Galmiche if you do not know how/where to find the international student mentors and gain access to the online courses. Online courses include information for living and working on and off campus in Würzburg, chats and meets to support contact with other international and German students, resources for study strategies, time-management, and course review/exam preparation. 

The Science Writing lab offers courses and walk in appointments with tutors for all writing associated with your course of study. Please contact the Science Writing Lab   by sending an email to the Science Writing Lab or Ulrike Rapp-Galmiche or the Protocol Tutors for questions and workshops for lab protocol and thesis writing, formatting, and tips to resolve writers block.
